Groot-Breede Campsite
Our campsite consists of 10 shaded sites situated alongside the beautiful Breede River on a flat, grass clearing. Each site takes a maximum of 6 guests per site. Each camp site has an individual water point and electricity point. Our bathroom block has sufficient facilities to provide each campsite with a private, lockable unit which consists of a shower basin, and toilets. There are also three additional toilets.
The campsite is easily accessible, so it is suitable for a variety of camping options whether it be a caravan, a tent, or a 4X4 trailer that you are using. On hot summer days, you can enjoy time in the river. There is also plenty of space for riding bikes and going for a walk or run. You can also book a wine tasting at Arendsig Handcrafted wines, which is a 20-minute stroll or 3km by car. (By appointment only)

- Individual bathroom facilities per camp site
- Water taps at every camp site.
- Power point at every camp site.
- Braai drum provided (bring your own grit)
- Wood available for purchase on site
Groot-Breed Campsite Camping Rates:
Minimum of 2 nights stay on all weekends or min 3 to 4 nights stay on public holiday/Long weekends.- Only 1 family per site (max of 6 people, children 3 yrs. and younger not included in)
- Maximum 2 vehicles per site
- R660.00 per site per night
Rules and Regulations:
Maximum speed is 20kmph.- Swimming at own risk
- Fishing allowed at dedicated site.
- No solid ground sheet/cover
- No day visitors
- Bring own Braai Grid
- No Animals
- Only rowing boats and canoes (no engine boats allowed)
- Music – please respect your fellow campers and we kindly request no music after 21h00
